Streamlined Recording and Playing

Just a tap on the keyboard 'space' bar or a click on the record button initiates recording a new 'take' of the student's work, along with automatic cataloging of the recording times and duration, and new version number.

Other recording programs require you to devise complicated file naming schemes to reflect the student and work in progress etc, and to save the recording file when complete. This leads to mistakes, and breaks the teacher-student concentration.

By using Rondo, you barely have to think about it!

Simple Record/Play Controls

Reminiscent of the old 'tape recorder' buttons, Rondo's controls allow you to record, replay, and pause the recording or playback in progress.

You can also instantly jump to any point in the recording currently playing by dragging the position indicator.

Lastly, you can examine performances in detail by playing back at normal speed, or half or double speed, all without changing the pitch of the playback.

Review Progress

The recording history, along with any comments and assessments which you have assigned to each recording, is displayed chronologically.

This provides for fast concise review of students' repertoire, progress and performance.

Students often like to key in their own assessments, thus improving motivation and learning outcomes.
